We realize there’s not a lot of down time upcoming, what with the holidays and all they mean coming up. They mean – planning, parties, and lots of time with others. Mixed in with life, there might not be a lot of extra leisures taken. That’s not to say we Girls of a Feather can’t dream, though, right? So, in the spirit of dreaming of downtime, a hot bath, warm fire, book in hand, I tapped my dear friend in OKC to partake in a version of my not-a-bookclub bookclub. She’s a prolific reader, and her taste is, well, perfect. Here are some titles for your consideration – two from she, one from me:
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. NBD. Mr. Doerr won the Pulitzer this year for this puppy.
The Marriage of Opposites by Alice Hoffman
Lila by Marilynne Robinson
