{he read/she read}

This installment of he read/she read, it’s only she read.  I’m vetoing the contribution of the Game of Thrones series and challenging “he” to come up with something a little more original.  In his stead, here are some titles to check out that come stamped with GOAF approval.

Claiming Ground by Laura Bell – A memoir, Bell tells the story of her move to Wyoming to become a sheepherder, and eventually, a career cowgirl.  Set in northern Wyoming, this book is close to our hearts.  A fast, beautiful read.

The Clasp by Sloane Crosley – A book about friends that starts at their reunion 10 years after college, picking up speed as they chase down a treasure.  Part caper, part coming-of-age, this was a super fun book.

The Revenant by Michael Punke – Yes, this is the book from which the movie is based.  Yes, that movie – the one with Leonardo DiCaprio, who’s nominated for an academy award. (So is the screenplay, the director, etc., etc.)  But what we love about this book is that it was written by Michael Punke, a Wyoming native from Torrington whose own life kind of sounds like a movie.  Get the book before you see the movie – you won’t be sorry.
